Nutritional Pain Management

Dr. Pourhassani, DACM holds a certificate in nutritional pain management from the Academy of Integrative Pain Management.  

If you were a chronic pain patient, or a patient preparing for surgery with Dr. Pourhassani prior to the 2020 Pandemic, you were provided nutritional advice to reduce your pain, and feel better. Some of you took that advice to heart, and others did not.

Since some patients are not interested in a comprehensive integrative pain management program which includes nutrition.  Nutrition for chronic pain conditions, back pain, headaches, migraines, IBS, painful periods and autoimmune conditions; it is now a separate service from acupuncture.  You

You now have telemedicine options, and acupuncture is not a necessity to obtain professional advice on how your diet can reduce your pain, discomfort, and allow you to have a better quality of life.

This is a great option for my patients who move away, and their new acupuncturist does not have training in integrative nutritional pain management.

This is also a great option for those who try obtain information from google, instagram, or magazines about nutrition for pain conditions.
