Shabnam Pourhassani Is Accepting New Patients for:

– Pain Management for certain problems listed below
– Weekly Acupuncture During Pregnancy
– Cosmetic Acupuncture (to help with wrinkles and worry lines)

Pain Problems We Evaluate:

Muscle and Bone Pain:
– Back Pain: Pain in the lower or middle back.
– Neck Pain: Pain from bad posture, injury, or strain.
– Muscle Strains: Pulled muscles in the legs, arms, or back.
– Tendinitis: Swelling in tendons (common in shoulders, elbows, and knees).
– Myofascial Pain Syndrome: Pain in muscles with tight, sore spots.

Joint Pain:
– Osteoarthritis: Pain and stiffness in joints like knees, hips, hands, and spine.
– Rheumatoid Arthritis: Swelling and pain in joints from the immune system attacking them.
– Bursitis: Swelling of small cushions (bursae) in shoulders, hips, or elbows.
– Frozen Shoulder: Stiffness and pain in the shoulder.
– Tennis Elbow: Pain in the outside of the elbow.
– Plantar Fasciitis:  Heel or arch pain in the foot from swelling.

 

Important to Know:

– If you haven’t had an appointment (virtual or in-person) in the last 3 years, you are considered a new patient.
– If you only got the “Chill-Me-Out!” service (a relaxing service with no health care treatment), you are not considered a patient.
