Fees

Dr. Pourhassani, DACM, Lac, QME, etc works at the top of her license, and unlike 99.4% of American acupuncturists, thus her charges are reflective.

  • Acupuncture fees vary based on condition, severity of condition, and purpose of treatment. (example: pain management is different than a surgical alternative) (the fee for treating an ankle sprain is different than drug withdrawal).
  • You do not pay one fee and receive endless care, services and time (the all you can eat Buffett has closed).
  • These are an example of fees for cognitive services, which do not include acupuncture procedural fees.
  • Pediatric acupuncture is not charged like adult acupuncture
  • Acupuncture for spinal cord injury starts at $4000 per week after evaluation and only includes acupuncture.
  • Infertility fees range between $6,000-$30,000 per cycle, after evaluation.
  • Questions have consultation fees associated withe them.
  • Diagnosis.  Yes, when I correctly diagnose you when 4 MD’s have failed to do so, you will be charged for cognitive services.  No, you can not choose to only pay for acupuncture when you are presenting with symptoms which require diagnostic services.
  • Medical History
  • Reviewing Medical Chart

  • Supplement recommendations and monitoring
  • Phone Calls
  • Hypnotherapy
  • Meditation training
  • Coaching
  • Patient education
  • Care coordination
  • Decision-Making
  • Discussing management options with patient/family
  • Nutritional assessment, counseling, and follow ups
  • Stress management counseling
  • No, you cannot text me, email me, and call me to ask questions without paying for my time.
  • If I am the fourth acupuncturist to reduce pain, it’s appropriate to assume my fees will not be similar to the other 3 acupuncturists who could not reduce your pain.

  • If you have been in pain for 9 months after an accident, and neurology, pain management, chiropractors, massage therapists, and other acupuncturists have not been able to reduce your pain, and save you from disability; I will not be charging the same fees for doing work they did not do.

  • After 15 years of practice, I have noticed some common themes in patients behaviors toward paying to receive his quality healthcare, they don’t want to pay, and that is an unfortunate choice.  I am  not willing to reduce the quality of care I provide.
  • Other services may be provided and charged for which are not listed here.
